Acupuncture - is based on the principle that there are energetic pathways, or channels, throughout the body that influence associated internal organs and structures. Energy from these pathways surfaces at various points on the body, identified as acupuncture points. Each of these acupuncture points serves as a tunnel, or access route, to the deeper circulatory channels within. Extremely fine gauge needles are inserted at selected points, stimulating these points and thereby activating the body's natural healing abilities.
Alexander Technique - The Alexander Technique is a method that helps to identify and change habits in our everyday activities. It is not a series of treatments or exercises, but rather a reeducation of the mind and body.
Aromatherapy - Aromatherapy is a holistic treatment based on the external use of essential aromatic plant oils to maintain and promote physical, physiological, and spiritual well being. The aroma is inhaled, or applied to the skin, and each of the oils (or combination thereof) addresses a specific disorder. It appears that the body is able to utilize the healing properties of the oils through the olfactory system of the body, and so initiate the healing process.
Chakra/Energy Balancing - Chakra Balancing works on the seven whirling energetic centers each known as Chakra. Our entire body vibrates at a basic frequency of approximately 8 cycles per second, which is the same frequency as the basic electromagnetic field of the Earth. When the chakras are functioning normally, each one will be open and spinning properly to metabolize the particular energies needed from the universal energy field.
Craniosacral Therapy - manually applied subtle movement of the spinal and cranial bones to bring the central nervous system into harmony. Various forms of cranial manipulation have been used to improve overall body functioning. The human Life Force (a.k.a. "breath of life"), which is the main fixture in healing, is said to be transported via the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) to all the tissues of the body. Craniosacral therapy is "holistic" because it tries to prevent illness and dysfunction by viewing the entire body as a whole.
Hypnotherapy- Hypnosis is a state of focused concentration and selective perception, in which the subject chooses to perceive only what is relevant to his or her task and allows everything not relevant to fade from awareness. "Hypnosis allows us not only to access the origin of challenges - fears, phobias, depression, habits - but also to recruit the vast resources of the deeper levels of the mind to resolve those challenges. And then to go beyond, to open the inner doors to a fuller expression of our unlimited potential."
